Haven't gotten your hands on it yet or have you just gotten them at your doorsteps? If so, congratulations on getting your new Google Home, Home Mini or Home Hub speaker😍! Once you plug it in and set it up, it's time to fully utilize it to its’ capabilities. We're about to show you what's really going down with these Smart Home Bad Boys 🤖!

Google Home, Home Mini or Home Hub can do a lot more than reading you news, reminding you of events, playing music or to update you on weather forecast. It's incredibly powerful device that can control your other smart home devices and automate your life with your voice command. If you are interested in fully utilizing your Google Home, here are 5 new tips that you may not know of.

1) Play white noise while you fall asleep or when studying

You could play white noise instead of music for better concentration for studying or for more peace trying to get asleep. For example, if you prefer the rain sounds to the standard white noise, you just have to say “Hey Google, play the sound of rain.” You could set a sleep timer if you want to be sure that it turns off at a certain point. Say "set a sleep timer for 15 minutes" for example.

2) Broadcast something to all your Google Home devices in your house at once

If you have more than one Google Home device in your house, you can broadcast your intentions to every single one simultaneously. For example, it’s time for dinner, you can say “Hey Google, broadcast that it is dinner time,” and each Google home device will ring a dinner bell.

3) Your misplaced phone

If you happened to misplace your phone around the house,Google Home can find it for you. You can say “Hey Google, find me my phone,” it will ring your phone. This will work for both Android phones and iPhones.

4) Google Home Games

Google Home is just not a smart speaker to you, but a friend of yours. Here are a few of the things you can ask Google Home to play:

a) Imaginary Tic-Tac-Toe
Imaginary Tic-Tac-Toe is a voice only game as you will have to imagine the board in your head as you play against Google Assistant.
b) Mental Math Game
To practice (your) or your kid’s arithmetic, try Mental Math Game. You will be given a problem and two possible answers. Try to get all 10 questions right.
c) Musical Chairs
Dance to the music with your best moves that you got, then snatch a seat when the music stops. You are out if you fail to grab a seat. Reduce the number of chairs per round and continue till the last one standing.

5) Voice Metronome
You can start Voice Metronome by saying "Hey Google, tell Voice Metronome to start" or "Hey Google, tell Voice Metronome to start at 120 beats per minute."

To speed up or slow down say: "Ok Google, faster" or "Hey Google, much slower."

Or you wish to set to a specific beats per minute, you can say"Ok Google, 180" to set the metronome to 180 beats per minute.
