Are Kindles really worth it? Does any version provide the ability to read Quora? How good is it for reading papers with equations and diagrams?
Are you trying to find the answers to the above-mentioned questions? Well, in this article, we will be going through some of the commonly asked questions from our buyers.
Are  Kindles really worth it?

In a nutshell: Yes! Kindle is definitely worth it.
They are much easier to carry around than carrying 2 to 3 physical books. They are light and convenient to carry and can hold thousands of books for you to read anytime. The e-ink display is easy to your eyes thanks to the glare-free screen(able to read in broad daylight). If you are using Kindle
Paperwhite, you will also be able to read in the dark with the in-built lights.

If you have Amazon Prime, there is plenty of free ebooks, even more so if you are subscribed to Kindle Unlimited. GeekBite also offers free 8000 ebooks for our buyers to make your Kindle purchase even much more worth it! And, it has an amazing battery life that lasts weeks not hours. Kindles also have handy tools built-in, such as the dictionary, you can find out the
meaning of the unknown words instantly!

Here are the most pocket-friendly Kindle E-Readers:
Kindle Basic, 4GB, 6″; High-Resolution Display (300 PPI), Wi-Fi
Kindle Paperwhite 3, 4GB, 6″; High-Resolution Display (300 PPI) with Built-in Light, Wi-Fi
Kindle Paperwhite 4 – 8GB, Waterproof, 6″; High-Resolution Display (300 PPI)
with Built-in Light, Wi-Fi
Kindle Oasis 2- 8GB, Waterproof, 7″; High-Resolution Display (300 PPI) with
Adaptive Built-in Light, WIFI
Which file formats can Kindle read?
AZW is the Kindle format, so most files you download from the Kindle Store
will have an AZW extension. Note that some files might have a number, such
as 1, 2, or 3, after the AZW.

MOBI, a file format developed by Mobipocket, is widely used and compatible
with the Kindle Paperwhite.
PRC is equivalent to MOBI and is the standard file format for the Kindle family of e-readers for content that comes from sources other than Amazon.com (http://Amazon.com).
TXT is a simple text file, such as the one you might create with Notepad.
PDF: Your Kindle Paperwhite can display files in Adobe’s Portable Document
Format (PDF).
Files in these formats are generally readable — that is, without needing to
be converted — by your Amazon Kindle. So all you have to do is transfer the
files onto your Kindle, and get reading.
Does any version provide the ability to read Quora?
Kindle has an experimental browser that you can use to access Quora but it
has some limitations and is not user-friendly. To answer a question, none of
the formatting tools (fat, list, indent, etc.) is available. The screen layout is
poorly displayed. In addition, entering text is very slow about 1 second per
character. Amazon themselves call it an “Experimental browser”, probably
because they also realise that it doesn’t give an optimal browsing
experience.
How good is Kindle for reading papers with equations and diagrams?
The kindle is designed to flow text, so if an equation could be typed from a
keyboard just using text characters, it should show up just fine for simple
equations. But for complex calculus equations, the only ones that are
readable are inserted as pictures. For diagrams that are inserted as pictures,
it should show up fine.
If you just convert a math PDF to an ebook format, it’s most likely going to
lose significant formatting and not look very nice -- but the equations might
come over as images and be readable.
