Everything you need to know about Xiaomi Mini PC

Xiaomi officially enters the desktop market with the release of the Xiaomi Mini PC.

Launched alongside the Xiaomi 13 series, the Xiaomi Mini PC is a compact aluminum-alloy PC that only weighs 437g, is 38mm thick, and is 112mm wide and long. Clearly, Xiaomi has its eyes on the Mac mini on this one.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 12th-Gen Intel Core i5-1240P CPU that consists of 12 cores, and 16 threads with a heterogeneous design. It comes with a 4.4GHz turbo frequency and Intel Iris Xe graphics with 80 UEs.

It then has a roomy 16GB DDR5 RAM and 512GB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. If that’s not enough, the motherboard allows you to max it to 32GB and 4TB, respectively.

For cooling, Xiaomi rigged the Mini PC with a 4600 RPM fan with dual heat pipes. For ports, we have 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2, 1x USB 2.0, and 2x Thunderbolt 4. This allows you to plug in any accessories like drives, peripherals, and even an external graphics card.

It also ships with Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi 6, and Windows 11. It also works with EXSI, Ubuntu, OpenWRT, and UNRAID.

The Xiaomi Mini PC with the said 16GB/512GB configuration has a price of CNY3,999 (around S$775.20) and is now available in China. You can also get it without the storage for CNY2,999 (around S$581.35). Release details in the Singapore are yet to be known.
