Samsung Galaxy A53 5G launch could be inching close. Samsung Galaxy A53 design has been revealed through official press renders.

Samsung is busy prepping for the launch of the Galaxy S22 series that is set for February 9th. However, it appears the company is also working on mid-range options, such as the Galaxy A53 which has been a part of the rumour mill for quite some time.

Now, WinFuture has posted several official-looking renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A53 5G, showing off the entire design in full glory. The design is almost identical to the Galaxy A52 from last year, with a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout and quad-cameras on the back. Samsung could be using the same plastic frame and the dimensions are also expected to be identical to the A52.

The Samsung Galaxy A53 has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper and narrow bezels. The volume rocker and power button are on the right spine, while the left edge is sitting flat. The back is where the quad-camera sensors are present with an LED flash. It could have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The USB Type-C port and speaker grills could be at the bottom, though the images don’t really show that. It comes in Black and White colour options.

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is said to sport a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. The phone houses a quad-camera setup on the back, with a 64MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and two 5MP sensors. It could have a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. The phone may ship with Samsung Pay, IP67 rating for water resistance, and Dolby Atmos.

The phone is said to be powered by the Exynos 1200 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that could be expandable. It is likely to boot Android 11 OS with OneUI 4.0 custom skin out of the box. A 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging powers the phone. Connectivity features include 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC.
