As rated byRotton Tomatoes, the top 5 series to watch is as below, in ascending order. All 5 has 100% rating too. Enjoy :)
5) Fauda: 100%
Rated at 100%, this Arabic thriller stands out from the rest of its kind. When a top Israeli agent is forced to come out of retirement to fight a Palestinian fighter, a series of chaotic and deadly events begin to occur. As predicted, this is a gritty and fast-paced thriller filled with outstanding action and wonderful acting. However, the reason this show has 100% is due to the complexity of both the characters and the situation. It is so morally complex that it fills that void that other similar shows most certainly lack.
4) Erased: 100%
Inspired by a manga of the same name, this Japanese show tells the story of a time-traveling son who finds his mother has been murdered and goes 18 years into the past to prevent her death and those of his three classmates. What makes this show so wonderful is its intense and addictive tone. It is a gripping and well-built story filled with suspense that makes it so hard to take your eyes off of it. It should be noted that it is rather slow in some places but not a minute gets wasted in the build-up as well as the climax.
3) Osmosis: 100%
This French show rings like an episode of Black Mirror. It's all about a dating app that matches people with their soulmates based on analyzing their brain data. However, when it begins becoming sentient, everything is thrown into disarray. This sci-fi drama is worth every minute spent watching. There is a great pace throughout and the story is only made better by its wonderful twists and turns as the characters develop throughout the show. Although it is similar to Black Mirror there aren't many connections that can be made in the actual show, so don't worry about watching the same thing twice.
2) Suburra: Blood On Rome: 100%
Inspired by a real political scandal in 2008, a fight begins over a seaside town just outside of Rome which ends up spiraling into a battle between corrupt politicians, vicious gangs, and the Vatican itself. This show is fast-paced, entertaining and addicting. You will find yourself in the second season before you know it and you'll never want it to end. What makes this show so wonderful is its acting and unreal story. Each character holds their own reasons for what they do that are easy to follow and understand and they all fit perfectly into this incredible story. 1) Fallet: 100% (Top-rated series on Rotten Tomatoes)
This Swedish crime story has some familiar faces along with a hilarious storyline. It tells the story of a Swedish detective who attempts to solve a gruesome murder with her timid British colleague.
Whilst being the typical gritty crime drama, Fallet embodies a comedic approach to a grisly and disturbing subject matter whilst also never taking away the severity of the situation. The comedic aspect is by far its strongest. There are a variety of jokes, from snickers to full-on belly laughs throughout the show's only season which will leave you begging for more. Not only is there comedy but the show is still filled with great twists and rather emotional scenes. This is undeniably a show worth watching. Comments are closed.
