Amazon Kindle vs Paperwhite vs Oasis: What are the differences?
When Amazon first introduced eBook readers, there were only two models, i.e the Wi-Fi Kindle and the 3G Kindle which were effectively the same aside from offering different levels of connectivity. These days, however, the choice of Kindles is much more complicated. There are three different models at three very different prices. The cheapest Kindle is the basic Kindle which features a 6-inch touchscreen model, first introduced in 2016, which is available from SGD$119, while the most expensive model is the latest Kindle Oasis, which is available from SGD$459. The mid-range Kindle Paperwhite sits between the two, which is available from SGD$189. Just to note, the Kindle Voyage, at one point the most luxurious Kindle offered by Amazon, has now been discontinued. If you are undecided as to which Kindle to go for, we have made your decision easier by comparing all 3 Amazon's e-readers below.

The Kindle is your basic, entry level model. Despite being the entry level model, it is set up very decently for your reading needs.
